Sony Ericsson Xperia ray has unveiled a trio of new devices, including a pair of Android 2.3 Gingerbread smartphones and a QWERTY featurephone for the messaging-obsessed. The Sony Ericsson XPERIA ray looks a whole lot like the X10, but is considerably smaller, Crave reports, with a 3.3-inch 854 x 480 touchscreen, 9.4mm thick chassis and 100g weight. It still has room for an 8.1-megapixel camera, however, and Sony Ericsson splashes on their custom UI (with, we’re assuming, Facebook Inside XPERIA integration). It’ll arrive in Q3 2011, in a choice of black, pink, gold or white. Sony Ericsson Xperia urushi today announced Xperia™ ray – a stunning new smartphone alongside CommunicAsia 2011 in Singapore.
