HTC myTouch T-Mobile 3G Mobile Phone - Black For $99.99

The unlocked T-Mobile MyTouch 3G Slide features a full QWERTY keyboard and the latest version of Android, 2.1, with all of its capabilities. T-Mobile's customized user interface brings a more consumer-friendly look and feel to Android, and the carrier includes some extra apps, like MyTouch Music. The phone's call quality is excellent and its 3G speeds are impressive.

For a long time, T-Mobile led the charge as the only carrier with Android phones. But in the past few months, Verizon and Sprint have brought out some crowd favorite Android phones like the Motorola DroidHTC Droid Incredible, and unlocked HTC Evo 4G. However, T-Mobile's back with a new handset to add to its unlocked MyTouch 3G line called the MyTouch 3G Slide. It's not a powerhouse like the other smartphones, but it's not meant to be either.

T-Mobile myTouch 3G

This is a version of the T-Mobile myTouch 3G designed for the music lovers. It comes with a 3.5mm jack for richer music experience, 8GB memory card and upgrades the RAM memory to 288 MB.The T-Mobile MyTouch 3G has a sleek, attractive design with a gorgeous display, tactile controls, and an easy-to-use, customizable interface. Stereo Bluetooth and Outlook e-mail syncing are standard features, and call and data performance are excellent. The T-Mobile MyTouch 3G lacks important features like a standard 3.5-millimeter headset jack, a file manager, and camera-editing options. Video quality is uneven, and the HTML browser interface and virtual keyboard have their flaws. Also, it doesn't support Outlook calendar and contacts syncing. With the T-Mobile MyTouch 3G, the Google Android OS gets a much-needed boost. A few complaints remain, and some users may bemoan the lack of a physical keyboard, but we approve of its eye-catching design and interface, improved features, and satisfying performance.

HTC T-Mobile MyTouch 3G GSM WHITE (Unlocked Quadband) Cell Phone

The T-Mobile MyTouch 3G Slide features a full QWERTY keyboard and the latest version of Android, 2.1, with all of its capabilities. T-Mobile's customized user interface brings a more consumer-friendly look and feel to Android, and the carrier includes some extra apps, like MyTouch Music. The phone's call quality is excellent and its 3G speeds are impressive. T-Mobile MyTouch 3G Slide resembles the rest of the MyTouch family with a rectangular, plastic body and subtle chin on its bottom, but it also steps out on its own with a slide-out QWERTY keyboard. For such a device, we're impressed at how relatively compact it is as 4.6 inches tall by 2.4 inches wide by 0.6 inch thick. The handset is a bit heavy at 5.8 ounces, but it has a solid feel and is, in fact, a sturdy phone. We know because we might have accidentally dropped the smartphone at one point, with it open no less, and it came away with nary a scratch.
